Reporting to the Director, this position will sit in Singapore and involves in preparation and execution of projects.

A Day in the Life:

  • Coordinate, monitor and report on progress of on-going projects
  • Prepare the BOQ (breakdown of quantity) by listing down the materials, fittings and fixtures that will be required.
  • Source for quotes on procurement of required material
  • Negotiate for the best terms and conditions and proceed with the procurement of materials/fittings from suppliers
  • Able to support any site operations
  • Submit concepts and costing to clients for approval.
  • Liaison for any electrical/water plans and internet connection
  • Monitor and ensure that suppliers/sub-contractors work according to schedules
  • Conduct checks on quality of materials, installations and equipment, fabrications and finishing by suppliers are according to requirements
  • Prepare additional costing for sales to bill clients for VO (variation order)
  • Assist in preparation and submission of tender
  • Collate documents according to tender instructions
  • Submit costing and conduct handover to clients
  • Manage clients’ expectations of project scope
  • Follow-up with suppliers to rectify defects for completed projects
  • Assist the department in any other matters when necessary

What We Are Looking For:

  • Diploma/Degree in events/construction management or any other relevant field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in project/site operations
  • Experience in M&E will be an added advantage
  • Technical knowledge in conceptual design drawing and floor plan
  • Knowledge on furniture, material and finishing will be an added advantage.
  • Well versed with Microsoft Words/Excel/Project.

  • Able to multi-task and adhere to tight schedule
  • Able to work in construction site settings and environment
  • Able to work night shift hours when necessary
