Reporting to the Senior Manager, this position will sit in Singapore and adopts an account servicing role by maintaining client relations and running operations.
A Day in the Life
- Assists project team in implementing events/projects on site
- Communicate with clients from event preparation to planning and execution
- Manage client’s expectations on project, event or exhibition expectations
- Service existing clients by understanding their requirements and providing cost control
- Attend events to obtain a good understanding of current trends
- Request for payment and invoices from clients and suppliers respectively
- Brief designers on specifications and requirements by clients
- Brief suppliers on all requirements for the events
- Negotiate with suppliers on costing
- Arrange with clients for storage of any items
- Deliver smooth on-site operations by checking suppliers delivery and build are according to requirements and specifications
- Develop costing report for approval
- Manage overall costing of projects to ensure healthy GP
- Develop and submit project report after completion of events
- Liaise with venue owner regarding any damages to the venue
Who We Are Looking For
- Diploma holder in Hospitality/Tourism Management or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in account servicing
- Only Singaporean and PR to apply
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
- Willing to work on weekends & long working hours during events/project
- Possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, and to attend meetings.
- Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
